Patients who were in the first vaccine cohort [in between Christmas and New Year] were advised they would receive a second vaccine after three weeks
THIS HAS NOW CHANGED NATIONALLY
Patients will be contacted by a team from NHS Support advising their SECOND DOSE will not go ahead next week.
We have been inundated with calls today – please dont call the surgery asking anything about vaccines – its all on the news and the information given by the support team is clear.
Also, we have had a large amount of letters asking for information, lots of appointment requests for information and lots of emails – we cannot commit to answering any of these, any query – whether on the phone or not – diverts our teams away from usual business and extra vaccine clinics.
We understand the national message changes often, and we are doing what we can to ensure we can get the vaccine out to as many folk as possible – please share this message and advise anyone to sit tight, look at the news, and give us the chance to get through the vaccinations as best and as quick as we can.
The Police were called by a local resident unhappy about the traffic outside of the Cricket Club last week – we apologise if anyone’s journey takes them slightly longer than usual.
